Privacy Policy

Fastive is an iPhone app for tracking intermittent fasts and weight. Your data is stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Summary

- We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- Fastive does not send your data over the internet.
- All your entries (fasts, weight, height, goals, preferences) live in the app's local database on your iPhone.
- To delete all your data, uninstall the app.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store on any server, or share with anyone:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account information (Fastive has no account system).
- Your location.
- Your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or camera.
- Health or fitness data from Apple Health, HealthKit, or other apps. Fastive does not integrate with Apple Health.
- Device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any tracking identifiers.
- Crash reports or analytics events.
Information Stored On Your Device
The following information is stored only on your iPhone, in the app's local database (Apple SwiftData), and is shared between the Fastive app and its home-screen widget via a private Apple App Group on the same device:
- Your fasting timer entries (start time, end time, target duration, notes).
- Your weight entries (date and weight).
- Your profile values (height, goal weight).
- App preferences (such as your selected timer readout style).
- The fact that you have accepted the in-app medical disclaimer.
This information never leaves your device through Fastive.
iCloud Backups and Device Transfers
If you have enabled iCloud Backup or device-to-device transfer on your iPhone, Apple may include Fastive's local data in those backups or transfers as part of standard iOS behavior. This is handled entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Fastive does not control, access, or have visibility into those backups.
Third-Party Services
Fastive does not embed any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.
Fastive is distributed through the Apple App Store. When you download or update Fastive, Apple may collect information about that activity per Apple's own policies, which are outside the control of Fastive.
Children
Fastive is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Medical Disclaimer
Fastive is a tracking and general-information tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any other professional health service. Always consult a qualified clinician before starting, stopping, or changing any fasting, nutrition, fitness, or weight-loss plan.
How to Delete Your Data
To delete all of your Fastive data, delete the app from your iPhone. Because all data is stored locally, removing the app removes the data.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the new effective date above will reflect the change. Material changes that affect users (for example, if data collection is ever added) will also be surfaced inside the app.
